Membership at FEFC

Membership is an important way to express your commitment to the Lord as you engage in worship, community and mission with other believers. As a member of FEFC, you become an integral part of our church and have the ability to steer it by voting on major church issues and serving in key leadership roles. You also join a community of believers to reach Austin and the world with the Good News about Jesus Christ.  

We're delighted when people choose to become committed participants of our church family through membership, and we invite you to join us as we strive to fulfill our purpose together. 

The Membership Process

Becoming a member is a two-part process:

• Membership Class - Attend the Membership Class which introduces you to our history, beliefs, purpose and denomination so you can make an informed decision about joining our church family.
• Membership Meeting - Have a short meeting on Sunday morning with two members of the Membership Team. This is a time for you to share your personal story of how you came to faith in Christ and how you plan to connect to worship, community and mission at FEFC.
