Jim Echels' Recommendations
Often I get asked about the music we play at FEFC, where we find it, and what we like to listen to. So if you like what you hear when you're here, keep on reading. Most of these recordings should be available in the iTunes store, and I'll try to tell you if they aren't. I will tell you though that I still find buying CDs preferable to downloading from iTunes because I'm one of those weird people that loves reading liner notes and holding the actual product in my hands. I know, I'm crazy that way. So sue me.
DISCLAIMER: Friends, just a quick word about technology. It is indeed quite easy to download all kinds of stuff, music and otherwise, for free. It is not, however, "all good." To be specific, downloading copyrighted material without expressed permission is illegal. Such music must be purchased in order to be legal. Sorry to sound like an old fogey, but it's true - to download and/or burn music without permission (i.e. that you didn't purchase) is to steal. Simple as that. Please be kind to those artists out there (and to their record companies too) and refrain from helping yourself to the illegal stuff. If you have to question whether an activity is kosher or not, it probably isn't. Believe me, the artists out there (especially those in the Church Universal) have to eat too, and with very, very few exceptions, their income is significantly less than yours. Do what's right.
FEFC does not endorse or sponsor any of these artists nor does FEFC receive any portion of the sales or profits from these albums or links.
